The definition of concrete concepts and processes in so-called SOPs is the central element behind the continuous pursuit of our quality objectives. The specifications in the SOPs are intended for the uniform implementation of all quality-relevant activities within UPP.
The quality objectives are also achieved within the framework of a practical corporate culture in addition to the concrete SOPs specifications. Conscious that even the best concepts and processes reach their limits in reality, an open error culture and a conscious approach to improvement potentials are key to this corporate culture.
As a pharmaceutical wholesaler engaged in the sale and trade of pharmaceutical products to treat rare disorders, UPP is subject to strict national and international requirements that ensure the flawless product quality of the goods that we distribute and trade in.
These requirements include ensuring that the products we trade in are consistently high in quality, the establishment of a quality assurance system and working in accordance with the regulations of the "Good Distribution Practices" (GDP) guidelines. UPP adheres to strict GDP guidelines and was awarded a GDP certificate by the competent German authority in June 2017.

The quality policy in UPP's QA system is based on the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, UPP also holds a valid license for the wholesale trade of pharmaceuticals in accordance with the German Medicines Act § 52a.
